Dental Radiographs for the Canine and Feline Patient.

Dental radiographs can be challenging for the beginner and even for those with years of experience. This oral presentation will help the attendee better understand how to achieve a diagnostic image with the bisecting and parallel views and how to troubleshoot foreshortening and elongation and what is to be considered a diagnostic quality radiograph. This presentation will also help the attendee determine how many views are recommended for the large dog, small dog, and cat and how to properly mount the images. This presentation will also go over the difference between digital radiographs and what equipment is needed.
