Matters of the heart: a guide to diagnosing and treating cardiac disease

This talk will provide practical recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of common cardiac conditions in dogs and cats.  A streamlined approach focusing on key findings from the history and physical examination, NTproBNP, and thoracic radiographs will be provided.  Current treatment recommendations for nonclinical patients, acute congestive heart failure, and long-term care and monitoring will be discussed.
