Radiosurgery in Small Animal Surgery

Electrosurgical devices are a popular device in many veterinary surgical suites today. In the 2000’s, there was heavy competition with carbon dioxide lasers as a “better” surgical cutting device. Many opinions and myths developed out of this competition for capital equipment dollars that have continued today and may be exaggerations of the capabilities of some radiosurgical equipment.
