What happens after I sign up for the conference?
Once you are registered you will:
- Receive a confirmation with your registration code and receipt.
- Get exclusive news and discounts from our exhibitors.
- Your attendee badge will arrive in the mail before the conference.
How can I make changes to my registration?
You can edit your registration details any time by calling us at +1 646-437-9080 or emailing email@example.com.
Please be aware that we send our badges by mail prior to the conference. You may edit your details until April 5 to receive your amended ticket by mail. Alternatively you can also amend your ticket on-site.
What is included in my conference pass?
Your full conference pass provides you with unrestricted access to all content (except for limited enrollment sessions) at Chicago Vet including:
- CE verification
- The full clinical CE program in Clinical Theaters 1, 2 ,3, 4 & 5
- The full business and practice management program
- Networking reception on Monday
- Access to conference proceedings (available with VIN)
- Full access to the Chicago Vet exhibition
- Lunch and beverages (please contact us for dietary requirements)
When will I receive my ticket?
Your badge(s) are being sent prior to the show via mail. The mailing commences late April. If you sign up after April 12, 2021 you can print your ticket onsite at the registration area using your registration code that you have been emailed previously.
Can I cancel my registration?
If you are not able to attend once you've registered, your pass is transferable to another member of your practice. Cancellation policy: Delegates may receive a 75% refund up until October 31, 2020. Before January 31, 2021, we refund 50% of the registration fee. Before March 27, 2021, we refund 25% of the registration fee. After March 27, 2021, no refunds are being given. Can I transfer my ticket to another person?
How can I pay for my registration fees?
At the moment we accept the registration via any VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro and Solo. Please note that all fees need to be paid in full at the time of registration. If you have any issues registering, please contact us on +1 646-437-9080 or send an email to email@example.com.
Are exhibitors collecting any personal data?
All our attendee badges are encoded with your name, address, phone, organization, and e-mail address (if applicable). Exhibitors obtain this information only if they scan your badge on the show floor. If you do not wish to share your information, please do not have your badge scanned.
Travel & Accommodation
What is the best way to get to the venue?
There are various options available to get to the venue, whether you are planning to drive, hail a taxi or even a boat. Please visit our travel section to find your best way. Arriving by foot? Please walk down the right/South side of Navy Pier, past the construction work and turn left into Festival Hall just before you get to the end of the pier.
What public transport is available to use?
Metra commuter rail is a convenient travel alternative. Take Metra and then transfer to CTA buses to come directly to Navy Pier. Use CTA bus #124 from Union/Ogilvie Stations and Millennium Station and CTA bus #29 from LaSalle Street Station and Millennium Station. Visit www.rtachicago.com to plan your trip.
The CTA provides five bus lines serving Navy Pier daily. These are #29 State, #65 Grand, #66 Chicago, #124 Navy Pier (serving Metra lines from Millennium Station, Ogilvie and Union Stations) and #2 Hyde Park Express (during weekday morning and evening rush hours only). The Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) serves the Chicagoland region and provides a variety of different routes directly to Navy Pier. The RTA trip planner makes it easy to use CTA, Metra and Pace buses and trains with real-time next bus and next train travel information. Visit www.rtachicago.org for all the latest transit information and to access the RTA trip planner to find the best way to Navy Pier.
Taxi or rideshare apps: Navy Pier has three convenient taxi drop-off and pick-up points. One is at the west end of Navy Pier, serving Dock Street and the Family Pavilion. At the mid-point, Entrance 1 serves the west end of Festival Hall, RIVA, and WBEZ Radio. Entrance 2 serves the east end of Festival Hall, the Grand Ballroom and the Navy Pier Beer Garden.

Will presentations or recordings be available for purchase?
Is the conference RACE-approved?
Chicago Vet is indeed RACE-approved.
The American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE committee has approved CloserStill Vet US LLC to continue to conduct continuing education programs.
How do I obtain my CE certificate?
Certificates will be available on-site at the CE Collection Point.. Certificates will also be emailed to you a few weeks after you have returned to practice and implemented your new skills and techniques. (Veterinary professionals licensed in Texas must pick up their certificates on-site.)
How can I track the sessions I attend?
A CE recording form will be available in our event guide. You can use the form to record all sessions you attend. You can also use our official Chicago Vet mobile app to plan your day.

Is there any WIFI available?
Complimentary WiFi will be available in Navy Pier for light web browsing. We recommend downloading large files (like proceedings) prior to arriving at the Navy Pier.
Is lunch included in my conference pass?
Complimentary lunch and refreshments are available in the Exhibit Hall for all registered attendees. You will find coupons in your
Passport Book (located in your conference bag) to be redeemed for lunch and refreshments in the hall.
Lunch is available from 12:00 PM–1:30 PM on each day of the conference.
Water stations will also be available throughout the exhibition floor.
Are there any nursing rooms available at the conference?
Nursing rooms are located in Room 201. Please visit the Info Point in the Registration Area for further information. There are two mamava pods for nursing mothers - one located by the main entrance to Festival Hall, the other is located by Riva Restaurant. Both are marked up red in the floor plan below.
Where do I pick up my event materials?
Event materials can be collected from the Bag Collection Point in the registration area beginning at 7:45 am on May 12. Your conference bag contains the event guide (full program and exhibitor list), your voucher book (contains lunch vouchers, beverage vouchers, Grenada competitions, show offers), a notepad provided and pens —as well as a variety of other goodies from our sponsors and partners.
Is there a coat check room on-site?
There is a coat check room in the registration area. You can leave your coat, luggage, or other items there. Costs: $5 per item.
Opening hours – open 30 minutes before and closes 30 minutes after the show
