Differentiating & Understanding Conjunctivitis in Dogs & Cats

Conjunctivitis is a common finding in small animal patients suffering from a myriad of conditions both ocular and systemic. This session will include a review of common causes of conjunctivitis in dogs and cats, such as follicular conjunctivitis and feline herpesvirus. Tips on diagnosis and case management, including recent advancements, will also be discussed.

  • - Recognize common causes of conjunctivitis in dogs and cats.
  • - Formulate a treatment plan for common causes of conjunctivitis in dogs and cats.
  • - Describe case work-up of a dog or cat with conjunctivitis.
